The retreat at Yangshuo Mountain Lodge was a relaxing few days for us and allowed us to catch up getting some laundry done. This marked a halfway point of our trip and we were looking forward to free time in the countrysides surrounding this rustic lodge that sat along the banks of the Yulong river.We had a good vantage point from our rooms - the first two days we resided on the first floor and the last night we were able to get onto the balcony floor and get an even better view of the river and the many rafts that traverse it from morning to dusk.
